Emerging during the early half of the 90's the enormously prolific Sayeed Tijani was one of the leaders of the Message Music Movement. He helped spread Hip Hop across the Midwest. His talent soon landed him in the Mainstream, touring the world with Def Jam recording artist Boss. This experience gave Sayeed Tijani showmanship, performing on the Dr. Dre Chronic Tour, The H.B.O Rosie Perez Music special and Fox In Living Color. After touring Sayeed Tijani resided in Brooklyn New York where he built a fan base performing at New York's hot spots alongside Lauren Hill, Queen Latifa, Tribe called Quest and the Last Poets. Developing his live performance skills from the intimate setting at New York's CBGB Night club to the Main stage at The African World Music Festival in Detroit, Sayeed became a well rounded Artist. In the late 90's Sayeed had a spiritual experience that made him rediscover himself and began a journey on the way of life called Islam. Taking a three year spiritual retreat, Sayeed Tijani emerged a visionary giant ready to invite all to good. Presenting a more organic sound with spiritual life, Sayeed Tijani gives a breath of fresh air in a often stale arena of artists.
